This page explains what data Pixiverse collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
Information We Collect
- Device UUID used for authentication
- Display name, username, and avatar settings
- Tasks, session history, XP, levels, and streaks
- Friends, presence, direct messages, and search queries
- Basic server-side request data needed to operate the service
How We Use Data
- Authenticate accounts and sync progress
- Run multiplayer rooms and chat
- Support tasks, rewards, streaks, and leveling
- Prevent abuse and keep the service working correctly
Storage
Pixiverse stores data locally on your device and on the backend. Examples include `user://device_id.txt`, `user://pixiverse_save.json`, `user://settings.cfg`, and Nakama storage for profiles, saves, tasks, sessions, and daily state.
Sharing
Some profile data is visible to other players, including your display name, avatar, and online status. Messages and room state are processed by the backend so multiplayer and chat can function.
Retention
We keep your data while your account exists and while it is needed to provide the service. Deleting your account removes the associated server data and local device identifier.
Your Choices
- Delete your account from within the app
- Remove the local device ID file to create a fresh identity
- Change local settings such as audio and vibration
